What do you think of this setup?

I have an 83 Chevy pickup with a 300 horse 350 crate motor. I am putting in an edelbrock perf. rpm hyd. roller cam with 296 adv. duration and 539 lift intake. I have the edelbrock perf. rpm intake man. Modified heads with 2.02 stainless valves. Ill be running the holly street avenger 670 cfm carb. I was told by edelbrock and a few others that i will be pushing loww 400 horse at the fly. Right now i run 15.2 in the 1/4 with the crate motor, built 700r4 tranny and 4.10 w/eaton posi. Wanna know what you think the horse poiwer will be, and maybe a rough guestimate of my 1/4 times. Thanx!

Also will the 670 cfm carb be big enough for that setup? I was thinkin 750 cfm.

I have a 355 with largly the same setup, if your gona street it get the 670 but if your gona simply race more in it get the 750. With a cam that size it would be nicer to race it. But 670 is plenty.

400 definetly sounds right and you could sqeeze a little more than that with the 750 maybe at the cost on your low end.

Also right now i have a th350 and am planning to uprade to a 700r4, I have 373 gears and will keep them for the 700, because a 700 with 4.10's will wind up real quick on regular sized tires.

You could push it down there to 12-13's i'm sure

Also what stall coverter are you gona run?
