Well i did that and i worked great . . . god horrible mileage but worked great ! ! ! ! was driving to the shop the other day and a rod started knocking . . . no biggie ? ? ? ? drove the additional 7 miles to the garage, 6 blocks away, SILENCE > > > > > BOOM, the loudest knock, backfire, cling, ping, smoke flyin' explosion in the history of 305's . . . . She's TOASTED ! ! ! ! Called HKS performance of Manhattan, got an Edelbrock 350 Crate Motor shipped this week, and can't wait to get it in ! ! ! ! the website says it puts out 410 Hp and 425 ft. lbs. tq. SWEET . . . so whoever told me that i needed to have my family of mechanics put in a 350 . . . THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, i should have taken it sooner than later. (At least i wouldn't have to wash all the oil off the windshield ! ! ! ! !) Happy Roddin' To All . . . Thanks For The Help . . . Electric Cowboy . . .
