i have a porsche with a sbc v8 conversion i had a 327 in the car with the double hump heads (10.5:1 compression) well i broke a valve spring and cracked a piston and pulled the moter and found a crack in one of the cylinders so i found a 283 block which will work well in the car but i dont have heads for it will my 327 heds work on the 283? or if it will work is it going to work right i was planning to put the cam from my 327 in the 283 if it will fit
