I love my car to death, yet know noting about cars in general, but i know what i want, COOL TOYS, I have a 78 Monte Carlo with the stock 305, I'm putting on a new intake (4 barrel) and an edelbrock 600 series 4 barrel carb with electric choke. They tell me i need to block off the "EGR" ? or something else with "plates" I just wanna know if it's a good idea to do the 4 barrel upgrade ? I'm basically getting it all done for free (Family of Mechanics) It sounds cool, and they say my car will run better, are the right? I know i sound like a girl, but i just don't know jack about cars . . .
