Pulling engine today.

Haven't done this in a while so help me out if you can. Here's a list of tasks I've compiled, let me know if I missed anything:

Remove hood, drain radiator & remove hoses, remove alternator, no A/C, no PS, disconnect mech oil pressure line, disconnect starter & label wires, remove distributor, accelerator cable & carb, remove fuel pump but leave line attached---secure, remove driveshaft, remove shifter linkage, loosen motor & tranny mounts, remove exhaust system @ the manifold, ----remove engine & tranny.

Anything else?

Car is a 1970 Corvette, currently w/350 & M-20. Rebuilt 454 & M-22 going in it's place. ;)

Don't forget the fender coverz' to protect that nice silver paint job. :) :) :)

Yeah....coffee to start....beer when your done. beats "what the hell??" later....lol. Nice ride.

Ok, got a question already.

How should I handle the Z-bar? Do I disconnect at the block? Or at the other end where it attaches to the frame?

At the block. otherwise you'll have clearance issues.

Replacing it with a big block eh ! That oughta give it some stonk.
