    350 Big Block Question

I called a local salvage yard yesterday to find a 350 Big Block for my friends camero. Did they make them in a 1964 chevy Half ton? thats what its in and im not sure if they made them stock in them or if it was modified

the only other thing I could possibly think of is the 348 Chevy made from 58-61...considered to be Chevys first big block

Chevy made a 366 big block. They were used in school busses and dump trucks. Your buddy does not want one. Lots of torque, lots of weight, low horsepower, and slow to rev. Just the ticket in school buses, dump trucks, and tug boats. But not in a Camero.

Get a 350 and build it big time instead of worrying about a boat anchor of a motor
