I like the stainless zip ties, they seemed comparable in price compared to hose clamps.
I've always used Summit brand header wrap, no complaints. It goes easier if you wet the stuff while applying - keeps the dust down too..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
