    454 400 trans

Since I didn't really like the way my 93 1/2 ton GMC handled the 5th wheel I bought a 77 Chevy C20 Camper special NOW were out there with the big dogs. The 77 has no rust anywhere and runs like the day it was bought. It came with a camper top that is for sale. It has 16.5 wheels which I'm changing to 16 just for cost reasons.Love camping

You might want to look at 17 inchers as the 16 tires are twice the money now that most newer trucks are 18 and up

Very nice trucks! I'd just stick with 16" tires Charlie. The sizes you will be looking for are still around. Those 17" properly load rated tires aren't exactly cheap IMO.

16 mich were over $250 each with the taxes,etc-the 17 were only a little over $500 for all 4 these are 10ply "E" load ratings-----the 17 wheels were take offs of around 2007-8-9 Ford van

3rd set of wheels for the 1999 truck------I have added a 2017 alum bed to it because of the rust on the old one

I had a 1984 Chev crew cab 454, turbo 400 trans , 4:11 gears, 16.5 wheels--------60 t0 70 mph was around 32-3300 rpm, altho with single rear wheels it got much better than my buddies same (4 serial numbers apart) milage--------like 8 or 9 compared to his 6mpg

It looks like grandpa's truck. Dad is holding it for me. I need a job soon before he decides to sell it.

Perhaps I could crowd fund it.
