Thread: possible 454/4l80e combo???

I have a 93 c3500 that is pretty much an extra vehicle. Its got the 7.3 454, and 4l80e trans. Both are solid, and in great shape. For a while now I've thought about pulling both for a future build, and getting rid of everything else. I have an idea for a modest streetable build, with big power plans later on. Just looking for any advice, tips, or just general info on the motor and trans.

Welcome to CHR. If you decide to pull the engine & tranny you need to get the ECU and engine wiring harness, too. It's a good way to go, provided you're looking to build something that can handle the bulk up front.
