 Just my opinion, but at one point you mention "so it's not ridiculous on the road" then list a lot of parts that are probably best left for race use...... If you want good, streetable horsepower, and a car that the fuel mileage is so poor in that a road trip requires a bank loan for fuel you might want to consider leaving this engine as a someday dream for a drag car and go with some LS power!!!! Read some of Jerry Clayton's posts on what his son Corey is getting out of the LS engines! Phenomenal, and still a very well-mannered street/highway go-fast machine..... Heck, you can get 525 horse out of a crate engine LS and have a 3 year warranty with it!!!! With the streets and highways the way they are these days, hooking up anything beyond about 600 horse is near impossible anyway.....and if you do the cops are going to be all over ya trying to impound the thing!!!! I'm sure you'll probably disregard this post, just wanted to offer some advise from a been there, done that perspective.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
