depends on how bad the pitting is--maybe if THAT cylinder would clean up at .030 you could just put ONE piston in one cylinder--or sleeve it to stock bore---
how much wear is on the other cylinders???maybe .030/etc on all and a new set of pistons-----if your 454 crank is good , then the way to go is fix it and forget the 427 stuff--besides a crank you would need a flywheel and front dampner for the external balance
the blocks used on those ls7 were generally good for up to 1/8 overbore----------and off the shelve pistons are generally available in 020/030/060/100/125
