another "how much power do i have thread" lol

welp after some saving up, scrounging around, and genourous donations i think ive fot everything to build my 454

heres what ive got.

454 marine block .30 over
12.5 to 1 speedpro pistons
comp roller cam. .714 lift
gm steel crank
gm 7/16 rods
team g intake
1050 holley domintor
1.7 comp cams aluminum roller rocker w/ comp lifters
gm iron ls7 heads. square port
msd 6al-2 ign w/ billet dist.

im guessing this will be a race gas/ 93 octane mix

so i guess im asking any and all opinions on this setup. advice?? how much power do you think ill have? feel free to say what you want it wont hurt my feelings :)

this motor will be going in my mudbog truck w/ tractor tires. it will be used for racing though a 200 mudpit

more numbers on the cam did some this size with 268@050 on dur good 600hp abit more ez

This is why a lot of guy don't like to answer question on here.
There is a lot that goes in to telling how much HP or torque a engine makes.
Unless the guy just has all kinds of free time to figure out every little detail
about a motor. Then most of the time a guy will just come on and say I
have this motor, and dosen't say it's been stroked or how many CC's the
combustion chamber is what ignition, headers, the intake flows how many cfm's
or any info from a cam card. Any and all of these facts can add or take
away from the best guess. You did a pretty good job Tonkatoy, but there
are lots of details for a really good estimate. Pat always does a great job
with the info he has on your motor. There is a lot of info that has to go
in to engine analyzer or a engine dyno. So the more info, the better the
guess will be.

We ran similiar motors 'back in the day', the cam was smaller; bigger knot on the piston and shaped to the chamber; GM aluminum heads. We had a 454 based motor and a talldeck 427 motor, both built by Lee Edwards and they both made 580hp.
Ahh, those were good days.

I'd guess 600hp-700hp too.

well i lied to you guys. I went by the machine shop last night and its a crane cam. 138131... that cam was donated, thats why i was unsure of the specs

we burnt some midnight oil last night. the motors now 30 over. going to hone the cylinders tonight and start assembly
