uses a thrust plate
there many post on here that i posted about this yep many times if you use a GM steel core cam use a melonite dist gear . this is childs play :)i took a mark VI machined it for mark IV oil pan . timming chain cover . steel billet main caps for a two PC crank and used a mark IV cam and chain set and two PC seal crank started life as a ZZ 502 now is a 540 dual turbo killer
Thanks for the info, did not know some of these parts cross over-- or could be made to cross over.
yep you can mix and match just have to watch push rods . dampers . old mark IV heads will leak on a VI block . oil pans . you can put a IV crank in a VI bock i done every thing as for swaping so just ask :)Quote:
