comp cams 288ar

I have a 402 in my 86 monte ss. The conversion was already done when i bought
the car from a buddy. Here is the current specs on the engine:
1971 402 out of a chevelle
10.50:1 comp, 241 oval port heads, comp cams version of the gm ls6 cam (and all cc's hardware) 242 - 242 520- 520 114 lsa @.50, cast crank, stock rods w/arp fasteners
the fastest I have ever seen this car go in the 1/4 is 12.89 with stock street tires
it will run 13.00 all day with the current set up. The guy that built the car figured it had
about 385-400hp. Like anyone else I am on the mission for more power,
so I bought comp cams solid roller 288ar complete kit (246-246 .623-.623 110lsa @.50). Does anyone have anything to say about this camshaft? How much increase in power can i expect over the ls6 cam? Any feedback would be great.

cam may not help much if heads are stock with no work the ls6 copy cam is not small for a 402 .what stall do you have in the car now intake . headers ? carb CFM s .i have in a customer s 427 621/621 246/254 @050 on 108 car as more CR then you have and 456 gear and 4000 stall with this engine

I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake, 750 Holly, 3200 rpm stall and 3.73 gears hedman hustler headers
the heads are stock I am thinking about buying a set of procomp castings
or getting some port work done on the ones I have now. Not sure yet.
my goal is to try and get it in to the high 11s
