24 x 17 x 3 would equal 1224 cubic inches if it were all water with no metal or plastic there at all, just a brick of water. One gallon = 231 cubic inches, so 5 gallons would equal 1155 cubic inches. So no, that radiator will not hold 5 gallons of fluid.Quote:

Yeah, it's possible for the entire cooling system to hold 5 gallons.
