we have used the 1017-1 and 1017-2 with a 400hp shot with alum heads . i have not used the procomps .not place to go cheap .i would go with the fel pro if money is the deal some of the procomp stuff is so so .you should run the mls on a dry deck with no sealer but i put some non drying sealer in some spots you may want to open up the deck of the block for water
