I replaced the cam in my SBC ZZ4 with the thumper 08-600-8, and it definitely gave me the "rump" I was looking for. All I wanted was the thump (guess I'm one of the "posers"), but my coupe is a cruiser, not a racer, so I wasn't looking for a power boost. That said, it seems to run a bit stronger as well. I'm happy posing with mine.
