    that cam will work with stock springs but if you go past 500 you will have to do more then springs some bbc do not have much valve reliefs in the pistons and some heads need rotator eliminators on the EX and if small port heads they need them on the intake side as well if you go past that cam i posted then you need to cut the guildes down for more lift or use a GM l88 reataner and seal springs H.O.GM #14097002. works good .this is used on the the boats Hi-perf gm engines that will get you to 560 lift with no work on the heads
