Did Chevy ever build a performance 4bbl intake for the big block made of cast iron? I have a project to build that requires all cast iron blk, heads, and intake. If they built one, was it a spread bore or square? Be nice if it's a square bore. Appreciate any help I can get.

yes for BIG O port heades they were made for the holley and theQ jets spread bore they were used on all the older 396 -427 around 65 to 69Quote:

yes the older bbc block heads 781 049 and other have a bigger port the older iron intake was hi rise dual plane big port there was a time you could not give them a way are so heavyQuote:
