Chpseat you mentioned consistency the car is what it is,Don't no your racing back ground but it is you your self that has to be consistant.I see it all the time at the track peaple make to many changes at once and when things don't go right blame it on car.get this car built go to track get it dialed in be happy with how fast it go's for a year or two. What are you going to use for a Cooling system.

thank you for replying
I am using an Elec pump rated at 100 gal. I have MSD ignition the 6al. A Holly 850 carb, and ya the cam were still looking into for profileing it but we do know it has a 630 lift so far, the rockers are 1.7.1. I just left the machine shop and my heads are Junk, I bought this car with alot of false pretences I found out. So I have to make what I have work I am on a tight bujet. My machinist told me to try and find a set of oval ports, 112 or less cc open chamber the heads, The heads I have are closed chamber and there is evidance of the intake valves playing with the top of the piston and looks like the piston has slapped the heads as well. So in order to get the compresion to were I was told it was, I have to replace the pistons with 12.1 higher dome but I need open chamber heads. As far as consitancy I cant agree more with you FIDO I have been at the track alot with a friend helping him but this will be my first season as a driver but if the car stays as constant as I can get it. it will all be up to me.
