predator carbs...

anyone else running a predator carb other than streets ? and what's your take on em. i'd like to here what other people have to say about them before i make my carb decision. streets, you should be gettin paid for this cuz i'm almost sold...

Actually, my cousin ran a predator on his 460 powered f-100. Never had a problem with the carb. The tranny on the other hand......

I would like to know what engines they make these for and the cost of them is there a catalog that you can get? I have heard good things about them but, didn't find a lot of information on them on the web.

same here, i'm curious what kind of power as well as mileage potential they have. I've seen a littel here and there, but never an in depth explanation

I ran dual preditors on my 350 blower engine and loved them, never had a problem with them they worked great, i would'nt hesitate to use them again. That and they look good too

Friend of mine had one on his Big Block Nova drag car. Has to be the simplest carburetor ever. His worked well. That was quite a few years ago, I imagine they are even better these days.

I have personally used a predator on a couple cars, one big block, one small block, and seen them used on everything from circle burners to drag cars. I never had a bit of trouble with them, and they must work cuz some of the area dirt tracks outlawed them!! My guess why you don't see them in mags is cuz they don't give the mags as much money as Holley and Edelbrock do.

if you want check them out on my car in my gallary, you might have to download the picture and zoom in on it on a photoshop type program, but you can see the carbs on the yellow acadian.

Never used one, heard alot of good.
Usualy use edebrock. My galaxie has a berry grant road deamon, never buy one of these, I took it out of the box put it on started the car took the carb back off and rebuilt it to kill all the leaks. It leaked from every where. But after I rebuilt it works great and looks sweet.
