Hot? orrr....Not?
Ok so I saw a show on tv the other day that was talking about how distilled water will not boil like tap water will. They heated it up and it stayed calm, that is until they added an impurity(in this case sugar) and it immediately "exploded" into a boil. So I was just wondering what might happen when using distilled water in a cooling system (w/o antifreeze). Could it be... Nothing? A catastrophic explosion that kills 12 ppl? Or an 87.3hp gain? or what?

For one thing DI water is so pure it will try to find a balance of minerals by leeching it out of the cooling system. that means anything aluminum will be sacrificed to the water.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
