there are 3 ways to go about this i have done them all .they all work there is really not any thing wrong with the big block with oiling the chain you do that more to oil the thrust bearing on the timing set

Make the best with what you have,,, 236's are great for the street where 95% or more of your driving is done. Small ports increase runner velocity, fuel atomization and discourage fuel coagulation. You need 1 atom of fuel per atom of air to achieve 'full burn' (stoichiometric),,, nuff said,,, :) Peter
