Anyone ever heard of a 4 quart BB Pan?

Thanks, the 454 in my Caddy was bought as a crate motor around 1990-91 and I got it with 5000 miles on it.
I was surprised to see that it only holds 4 quarts!!

Yeah and it concerns me a tad bit too. Older BBC's were fairly notorious for holding oil in the top end. I am hopefull they improved this situation on the Gen V and VI designs.
It is very low profile though. For my Gen VI 502 I went with a kick out style 6 quart Moroso pan at the recommendation of Salley chevy.
Chevy would never sell us a pan that let us burn up our motor, would they?

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
