    just a fyi the rotella has been changed and i wouldn't run it.. as for the noise does it sound like maybe one lifter or rocker or does it sound like alot of them..do you know the oil pressure?? were did you set the preload??did you prime the oiling before you started it??

    its really hard to tell but it sounds like one, initial oil pressure is 70-75 then it drops to around 40 when idling, what do you mean by preload?
    what oil do you recomend
