im using 15w40 rotella im pretty sure everything is broke in and all the lifters are oiling, the lifters have those small flat spots for xtra oil, it has around 400 miles on it and the noise stays the same but i would say it does get a little louder when its hot, also it is a hyd flat cam the cam grind is 274h extreme energy
