I have a high mileage 1974 454cid. I have a sticky lifter. tried to free it up with Cfoam, didn't work. thinking about replacing the lifters. Should I also replace the cam with an RV or Edelbrock RPM cam (mild). Engine has good compression. Never rebuilt.
I am a novice but can't spend money when not needed. full rebuild too expensive at this point.
