street / strip strip only with Nos???? how much gear how much stall and if you drive it on the street where do you want to be at for rpms how much Cr do want to run race fuel or 10 to1 pump fuel hyd roller cam engine ???? i do see you are saying street ?strip but do you want it just to drive it rarely on the street and about 80% of the time at the track? why i said the 555 or the 565 is they will not cost any more then a 540/548 the 565 is the way i would go and if you want more we have used the 4.375 crank in the short deck 9.800 block to get a 580 the pistons would be customs or i may have a set used . i do have a tall deck 571 short end i would sell it a fair price or a 598. i will be getting some 9.800 blocks soon that can go to 4.600 bore that may need some work and they would be fixed ready to go. i have a machine shop so i can and do alot of big blocks
