6 AN AN fittings are measured in 16ths of an inch, so 6/16 = 3/8"Jack

If you're going to use braided hose for the whole fuel line, you're in for an interesting project - at least if you haven't done it before. Getting the fittings over the braid after you cut it off can be a real challenge.
My method:
- Tighten a small hose clamp just behind where you need to cut. Just snug, not tight enough to deform the hose.
- Cut the hose with a die grinder with a cutoff wheel.
- Clip off any stray pieces of wire with nippers, or touch them with a grinder.
- Start the hose into the fitting, then loosen the hose clamp until you can push it home.
- Be prepared for some nice little pinholes in your fingers.
There's a tool you can buy, but it's pretty expensive for a one-off job.Jack

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
