Pat and Erik, I thankyou for the advice. Pat you mentioned one of you building an engine for better money could you give me a little more information or PM me if you need, or I can give you my e-mail.

Erik, without trying to sound like a numbers lover, I would like a little more power than that. My '05 Silverado makes close to that and I would like my play truck to be a little more radical. If I can get the performance and times out of 500hp then I would be happy with it but I am guessing I will wish I went more extreme if I were to settle.

I realize you two are the gurus when it comes to big blocks on here and I don't want to come across the wrong way I am still up for any suggestions or advice you guys are willing to help me out with.
