    Is this worth it?

     



    A friend has a 454 bbc pulled out of a older SS pickup.he is asking 500 hundred for the engine with all the accesories ,and 250 for a 400 trans.Both will definitely need to be rebuilt.I would like to build a 468 performance motor.Thanks

    well i see them go for that much on ebay so maybe ?but how much of it will you use again ? the heads are not that hot . the rods are not much more than ok to use it is a one pice seal block ? mark 5
