PCV problems w/stroker chevy

Ok I have just finished my "budget" build 496.
My problem is that I ordered a Midwest Hurricane Intake Manifold without any ports for all my vacuum stuff. So I have NO PCV system right now.
So I thought I would improvise and just put 2 breathers in each valve cover. Well the motor runs like a raped ape 11.2 the first pass, and 10.9 the last. But on my return trip to the pits I had pushed a lot of oil out the right side of the motor through the breathers(about 2 cap fulls of oil), and it was burning off the headers.

So I am now paying for bad planning.
I have had some cirlce track guys tell me to get new valve covers with the tubes that extend the breather about 4 inches off the valve cover itself.

I have also been told to yank the intake off and have it drilled and tapped to install a new port. Well that just doesnt sit well with me....I know there is someone out there that has an easier fix than that.
I have my brake booster running off the vacuum port on the carb base plate. All i need is a way to get that crankcase to vent without puking oil everywhere, and to save my gaskets from getting pushed out from all that unvented gas.

The carb is an 850 Mighty Demon
And I can go take some pics and get them loaded up asap.
But just out of curiousity what are you looking for in these pics?

The Mighty Demon carb has a vacuum port at the rear.

Yeah I have my power brakes running off that port.....is this a bad idea?....lol

What the circle track guy's are telling you is correct.
We like to run two breathers per side.

Are you running the breathers on those standing tubes that lift them up off the valve cover?

And if so....are you flinging oil out of them?
I assume you circle track guys are running way more oil psi, and turning more RPM's, so you have some serious preasure in the crank case....

We will send some oil out the first night or so because it will go right by the rings.

Thinking about trying one of the new vacuum pumps.... Should make thin, low tension rings a viable option for a street car?????
