how big do you want to go? max cid for a short deck 582 max on a 10.200tall deck 638 cid this is for world /dart/ donovan / brodix etc. i will add you could get more but it would be very $$ with a 4.630 and 4.875stroke is 656 cid on the tall deck and you could stuff a 4.500 crank in a short deck for a 606.(i would not try this) stock block gm short deck max 526and the tall deck 556 both are at a .125 bore that is a lot for the stock short deck and have seen thicker bore on the tall decks maybe a 4.437bore and 4.625 stroke 572 cid or a 4.500 bore and 4.500 stroke 572 or 588 with a 4.625 crankLast edited by pat mccarthy; 11-06-2006 at 11:02 PM.

no. less your mass is the faster it will rpm .that has alot to do with that and i never think much how fast some thing can rpm when it makes over 760 of tq Originally Posted by BigTruckDriver Originally Posted by BigTruckDriver

I.M.O.,I would build a 540 to 565 9.80 low deck. Originally Posted by BigTruckDriver Originally Posted by BigTruckDriver
