I hate to do this but i am going to have to ask a engine hp question.
what kind of hp-tq would one expect from a 454 - 496 stroker with approx 9 or 10 to 1 compression stock iron 1974 heads and a rpm limit of approx 5200 rpm. i dont what kind of cam this would require but i was looking at the marine 496s and they are putting out 425 hp .
would this be close for this engine or not
i may have asked this question before re this kind of build but just wondering on paper what this would put out.
