Gidday fellas,Im new to this site, infact new to the internet generally but not new to hotrodding. Could someone please Id this 427 that Im thinking of buying for my next project- 39 chevy coupe. Block casting #38563512 date code E.14.9, Block stamping T06067BJ, Heads casting#3933148, MTRUCK. Thru searching google for a couple days Ive determend that it is proberbly 69 427 335hp but still not sure. Could find no reference to the suffix code.Id like to know exactly what vehicles this engine would have came in. Also, would these heads be classed as peanut or oval port. The joker selling wants around $5k US for it which sounds alot to me but it is standard bore and 427 stuff in Australia is always scarce and expensive. Im wondering what a fair price in the states for this would be? If I do buy it Id need to get it over 400hp without costing too much.
