The question about the line honing is probably best asked of the engine shop that did it. They can tell you better than anyone else. Otherwise, put the caps on, torque them down, and measure the bore. See if it's still within specs. If so, you'll be fine. If you're building this yourself, dont go without measuring everything. Is easier to do it now than to have to pull it apart later. And as far as the gear drive, if it's the noise you like, go for it. I think the feeling of most people is that they are something that sounds cool at first, but gets old really fast. I know mine did many years ago. I'm of the opinion that if you want a blower type of sound, get a blower. But to each his own. As far as installation problems, Im sure you got instructions with them, just read it twice before you start. They are easy to install and fit. And Roy, could you explain this a little more??
PS they really make a blower stand out
I think a blower that's set up right has a sound all it's own, and certainly stands out on it's own. John
