can this rotating assembly withstand 1100 horse?

hi i'm curious would these components be able to withstand the horsepower and torque of an 1100 horsepower engine?
JE Premium Forged pistons
Eagle 4340 Forged Streel Crank
Eagle 4340 Forged Streel ESP rods?
for a blown big block???

Best bet is to ask the manufacurers. They are the only ones who will know for sure.

I hear the Eagle rods are good for quality, but I hear you should get the crank checked for straightness before you install it.

Egale parts are good but not really what you want for that much power trent eagle themselves say that the crank & rods are rated for up to about 700HP for the BBC.

I am building a motor about the same HP and i was going to go with the eagle parts becuase the price was pretty good $900 for the crank and $650 for the rods .

but after talkin with alot of other racers and making some call's almost everyone told me the same thing,callies crank and oliver rods for that much power....callies crank $1900 and oliver rods $1600 it stung my wallet a bit but with that kinda power you dont want to skimp on the heart of the motor.

A blower puts a ton of stress on the rotating assembly. I wouldn't skimp on the parts. You may want to consider the highest quality rods available, and a billet crank.

Trent, another thing to consider is this. A blower uses half it’s horsepower it produces just to make the power. So say your engine makes 500 n/a hp and if your blower makes an additional 300 hp for a grand total of 800hp, an additional 150 hp would be available except for the fact that it is used to turn the blower which is strapped onto the front of the crank. So in essence your crank is stressed as if it was producing 950 hp, rough calculations.

This is where the beauty of a turbo or nitrous comes in. It adds no stress to the crank to make that extra hp other than the hp you realize.

So, if you are using a blower, buy the crank that can handle the actual stress that it will be subject to.
