there is not one thing wrong with them heads at all . he needs to take the flat tops out and get some thing with CR . and yes if he is asking on a cam i do not assume he is aware of the work involve in getting things to fit. like fly cutting the pistons. he ask what cam would work? and if any one used it. with9 to 1 pistons? they are not . i have uesd them many times and a 268 will fit with out any of the work . and i knew that cr he had 8to1 less there has been alot of cutting of the deck and heads .on fly cutting you did not say about your cam? i know this . he may not? so at this point i would assume that he did not know he had no CR ?so checking valve to pistons he may not know? i know what them pistons will take for lift. fly cutting may not be a big deal to you .but if some one is asking dont you think you should tell him ? i think he may want to know that the cam he buys will not fit? less fly cuting is part of the deal if you think of motor of a system. i think the engine is part of the system to . he has no cr and no room for your cam to work so he will need new pistons or a small cam he did not say he was going to use diffterent heads or pistons BUT he did not say that . i am guessing he wanted to dump big cam in this a go racing seeing this engine has 2500 i would bet he was not thinking of getting new heads or pistons but hey i could be wrong
