I found a big quadrajet 4 barrel carb last night. I tried to id it and all I can find out is it is from/for a '76 Buick. The number is 17056244. It also has a 0496 AFA on it.
Here's my question. Since it looks bigger than a SBC quadrajet, I was curious what the cfm's were and if it would work out well on my 468.

It's just my opinion but I would go with a Holley or Demon carb , at least 850 c.f.m. . I always had problems with the Rochester chokes . Especially with a aftermarket intake .
