    402 engine specs?

I picked up a fresh rebuilt 402 from a buddy that got it from another guy that ended up not using it.
My buddy picked it up directly from the machine shop when the motor was complete.
I don't have any info on the motor because the buildup was around 7 years ago and the paperwork was lost.
My buddy told me he thought it was a 1970 402 built to factory specs.
I have all info I could find on the motor and was wondering if someone here may be able to help.
    The block is - 3999280
    Passenger head - GM4T 3964290
    Drivers Head - GM3T 3964290
    Intake - 3955287

    Any help would be great.
    Thanks, Ken

    Thanks for the info.
I just found the information searching with Google.
I couldn't find the block either.
I will check tonight when I get home
    Thanks,
    Ken

Well, It looks like more than likely a truck block from what Denny shows
the guy I got the motor from said he thought it was out of a 1970 El Camino.
Would they use truck blocks in El Camino's?
The heads and intake show 1969-70.
I just hope it isn't a low compression later model 402
I got my buddy searching for the build sheet but with 7 years and 1 divorce, it doesn't look positive!
    Thanks for all the help.

Well, I checked again and the block numbers were 290 not 280.
Maybe my eye sight is starting to finally go at 41 years.
Anyone know if the 240 hp motor would have dish pistons?
I was able to look down the sparkplug hole and the motor has flat top pistons. Couldn't see any valve reliefs but didn't really have the space to see much.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks, Ken
