dist. grounding
I read somewhere that the distributor needs to have a good ground to the block.
If there is a gasket between the mating surface of the dist and the intake. . how does it ground????
That's how mine is set up, it runs so I guess it's ok.
Does it ground through the cam gear?

hold down clamp and bolt is probably the low resistance path
