I have had alot of problems with fram filters. They filter out such small particals that wouldn't effect your motor anyways that they clog and cause restriction. If you don't want to take my word for it try going to www.hotrodgossip.com and post the question of opinions on fram oil filters and watch the responses. May of us have had them actually "pop" with high volume pumps and as little as 1000 miles on the oil. My suggestion is to use a cheap one but not the cheapest you can find. I use a wix on all of my vehicles and just change your oil regularly.
