i'm in arizona, looking to get a '48 - '52 era fastback that's been refit with a more modern drive train - a 350/350 combo preferable for the simplicity of it. not looking to spend more than $4k.

i always liked the lines of the buicks and pontiacs, of course the chopped merc's and fords, but trying to keep an open mind to what comes up rather than deciding on a dream car i can't find or afford.

needs to be a driver, doesn't need a perfect body but not rotted out, not so worried about the interior.

if you have something or know someone in the phoenix area i can email/call, let me know. i've been looking for awhile, know these cars exists around here, but they don't seem to list where i'm looking.
