Here what it looks like. My uncle had one about 45 years ago. LOL! We called it a "bathtub Nash".
Oh I know what they look like - had one for an off-road beater when I was about 15 - its still out in the woods somewhere, full of bullet holes. Now that the '32 roadster is finished, I want to build an all-weather commuter rod that is so ugly it's cute. I'm thinking Honda Insight or Toyota Prius drivetrain......
Stay tuned.
Actually I posted it so others would recognize what you are looking for. Not too many people today would even know if a Nash was a car, a kitchen range, or a Bass boat! :-)
I was snooping around looking for a Nash online last week and ran across one on collector car trader. Just looked and it is still listed. It's a blue 52. Not sure if it still avaiable.
This is the dealer website. www.motorcarportfolio.com
That's what I'm looking for, but that one is WAY out of my price range and not in the NW. But picture it in the weeds, lines cleaned up, getting 55mpg...
Project Kelvinator.......
I owned the stationwagon version of that car. Had a 371 Olds engine, two fours, old four speed hydro, etc. I didn't build it, traded a '56 Ford straight across for it. Buddy of mine bought a brand new 383 Sport Fury in '64, and was very disappointed when we lined up and the nash pulled him.
I LOVE sleepers. :D

Here is one in Arizona. $6000. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/403808284.html

Still looking for a '50-'54 Nash, only have revised my plans somewhat to now wanting a 2-door wagon instead of the Country Club hardtop. They are small, like a Metro on steroids, and have the covered front wheel openings. Somebody out there must know where one is. $100 paid for leads resulting in purchase.
Here is one in Calif. http://humboldt.craigslist.org/car/625290868.html

Too funny! Wish I was closer, it might have some good parts. But I don't think its worth the trip from WA. I found one in Billings MT also, but it has the wrong front fenders.
Here's one in Missouri. mailto:sale-642036666@craigslist.org?subject=1960%20American%20wagon%20-%20$500%20(Pierce%20City)
The advertised one is a 1960, too new (and too bad condition) but the one next to it might be a candidate - I'll check it out.
You might find that the Prius or Insight drive train will be little light for that tub, I mean car.  A strong four or a small six might be a better deal. Me, personally I would want at least a Mopar 340 in it.
