70's or older frame-over-body car
Hello,
I am trying to build a rod for as little as possible. I am open to ideas. I am wondering if i could just find some crappy old car like a 70's cadillac or any other oldier frame-over-body car that packs a v-8 and then rip the body off and toss on a model a body or something. Like i said before i am open to ideas and remember cash is tight safety ddesnt matter.

a '70's Caddillac is a few feet too wide and a lot of feet to long for a Model A body. as for Safty not being an issue, it is an issue for the minivan full of kids when you rear end them from no brakes. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
