    Wanted: 1928-1964 2dr in Ohio

I sold my hot rod and I'm looking to get back to a cheap roots style rod or custom.

I'm looking for something that is running and driving. Doesn't have to be pretty, but needs to be solid and able to be driven. I'm interested in a 2dr american car. 1928-1964. I'm partial to the 1955-57 GM cars, but will consider others.

Glass needs to be there and functional. No uni-body cars. Needs solid chassis. If the car is nice enough, it doesn't have to have a motor and tranny, but needs to be complete otherwise.

I plan on giving it the custom treatment while I drive it so I don't want to be dumping a bunch of money into mechanicals.

I have a budget of around $3500 and have a couple of things I could use as partial trades if the car merits that. Would like to find something within 2hr radius of Columbus, OH.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I know you were looking for a rebuildable car thru 1964, but would youo be interested in a running 1972 Olds 442? I live about 2 1/2hrs from Columbus in moundsville, wv.
